Complete Instructions oh how to use MIR
This is not a drug nor a medication. It will not cure anything. It is a family recipe, a natural remedy to help with, and in most cases eliminate for most of a day, the itch associated with many skin problems. Made from natural ingredients. Every ingredient is edible so it won’t hurt your animal to lick it although some of them might disagree with their stomachs and it will reduce the mixture's ability to stop the itch.
* This product was not processed for consumption and SHOULD NOT BE EATEN. No allergic reactions have ever been reported, but as with any new product, try it on one small spot on you or your animal to check for any sensitivity.
**DO NOT use on open cuts, bleeding, oozing or crusty areas of skin. These symptoms could require a doctor or proper medicinal products to cure. Once these problems are gone MIR should help with any residual itch.
Follow these Instructions:
- Put correct amount of water for Miracle Itch Relief to be used, see coverage chart below, into a small bowl. The smaller the bowl the better so you can use it all. I use a very small glass.
- Slightly warm water helps it all dissolve easier. Room temperature water will work just fine, but takes a couple minutes longer to dissolve completely. You DO NOT want hot water as several of the the ingredients won't dissolve well in it.
- Mix Miracle Itch Relief with water- see coverage chart below for correct amount.
- Let mixture stand for a minute, mixing easily every few seconds. When most particles are dissolved it’s ready.
Ratio: Mix 1 tsp of Miracle Itch Relief for each tsp of water. You can make it thinner or thicker but this is the ratio I find easiest to apply.
- 1 tsp will do about a 6 x 16 inch area (The back of a medium size dog or an adult's arm)
- 1-1/2 to 2 tsp will do the entire body of a small, short-hair dog or an adult's lower leg
- 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 tsp will do a medium-sized dog
- 3-1/2 to 5 tsp will do a large breed.
* If you have a long-haired animal, add 1/2 tsp to each measurement above as some of the mixture will get in the hair.
Create a thin, almost watery solution, you do want it a little thicker than water, put it on the itchy area by dipping your fingers in the solution and spreading it GENTLY by rubbing it over the irritated areas, dipping your fingers into the solution often until it is gone. Keep gently rubbing the areas. The ratio above is just a little thick and I use a few LIGHT sprays from a bottle of water to work it all the way in. This also seems to rub it into the skin better. If you don't have a spray bottle, just dip your fingers into water every few seconds as you rub it, it works as well. Keep the skin lightly wet, not running, but not dry enough to pull at it and irritate it as you work the MIR in. I usually rub it lightly for several minutes although 1 or 2 is probably enough. They just enjoy it so much I keep doing it for them.
* For long hair, part the hair in several places with your other hand and put as much as possible on the skin through the parts and then spread the MIR out from there. Spend a few extra minutes slowly massaging the area, use an extra spray or two of water, if you want to work as much of the mixture as possible into the skin.
In most cases, the longer you use MIR, the longer each application tends to last until another application is needed. If you use it daily or as soon as it is needed every time, many skin problems will seem to go away because you won't see the irritation, but as soon as you stop the applications, it will return most of the time.
*If you put it on too thickly it WILL NOT work any better at all. It just wastes the product and makes it messy. If you do, once dry you might find a fine, white residue come from the fur or hair. This is the excess you didn't need to use and is easily cleaned away.
